My two homes

I’m back home in the Finca after 5 weeks back home in the Iowa(how blessed am I to have two places that feel so much like home!). My time back was busy and full of love. I got to spend time with my parents and siblings, meet my new baby nephew, have quality girl time with my college roommates, celebrate my sister’s pregnancy, and spend lots of time peacefully reading good books and sitting with Jesus. Below are some snapshots of my time spent back in the good ole US of A. I

So many wonderful and fun things have happened recently that I don't think I can do them all justice. Instead, I wanted to share various pictures taken by me or other missionaries and give some context and stories for what was happening.

Newbie no more!

I’ve enjoyed remembering what those first few weeks were like, what I was feeling and what was happening, reminiscing on all the firsts and all the introductions to people I now consider my family.

Vacation and Start of Year 2!

Its crazy to me how I spent so much time last year excited to visit home for vacation, and now I’ve already been back in the Finca for a month! The past 2 months of flown by(like every month in the Finca) and have been full of so much rest, joy, and love.

So...what do you do as a missionary?

As I prepare to leave the Finca for my month-long vacation next week, I’ve been reflecting on a question I imagine I'll be asked while back – “What do you do as a Finca del Nino missionary?”
